The outer fabrics of the Proof products are made from 100% recycled PET bottles. The outer material has a water column of 13,000 mm. During production, the fabrics are extensively treated on both sides with a water-based coating. However, under heavy exposure to water, moisture may penetrate through seams and zippers, which is why we describe these products as water-repellent rather than waterproof.
