The outer fabrics of the Proof products are made from 100% recycled PET bottles. With a 13,000 mm water column, the outer material keeps you dry. During production, the fabrics are elaborately coated on both sides with a water-based coating. However, under heavy water exposure, moisture can enter through seams and zippers, which is why we refer to these products as water-repellent rather than waterproof.
