The outer fabrics of the Proof products are made from 100% recycled PET bottles. The outer material has a 13,000 mm water column. During production, both sides of the fabrics are carefully treated with a water-based coating. However, under heavy water exposure, moisture may penetrate through seams and zippers, which is why we describe these products as water-resistant rather than waterproof.
